Nutritious diet for and after weaning your baby ! (Ayurvedic)

Weaning is the crucial time for upgrading your baby’s nutrition. Healthy foods and their nutrition is mentioned below to carefully plan your little one’s diet.

We all know the importance of mother’s milk for the baby, unless medically avoided it is strictly advisable for your baby to have mother’s milk till she/he turns six months old.

What is weaning?

Introducing other liquid, semi solid foods for your baby while slowly withdrawing her from breast feeding.

Weaning doesn’t happen over a day, it is a step by step process. You should ideally start weaning your baby by the time she is 4-5 months old.

By the time she turns 4 months old mother’s milk alone won’t be sufficient for her rapid growth and development.

I am adding a Nutritional requirement table for your infant, It may look little complicated. It is just for your reference and information; If you buy any market made baby foods you look at the carton and compare the values for calculation.
