How to brighten eyes ?DIY Ayurvedic eye drops

All of us wonder how to brighten eyes at some point of life because eventually we lose those bright eyes which we had in our child hood.

Getting that brightness back is just a very simple task especially when you use these magic drops which eventually makes your eyes sparkle in a very less time.

There are 3 reasons why we all loose that brightness and luster

  1. Pollution

Before we discuss about nutrition let us first beat those first two reasons

For giving a good detox and calming your eyes by reducing excess body temperature, use these home made rose water drops

Gulabhi arka or rose water is one of the ancient ayurvedic preparations which is used in many diseases and also to brighten eyes

Especially in pitha related disease. So, let us learn how to make pure rose water through distillation at home.

Step -1

Take roses , preferably country roses and wash them well. Now remove stalk and separate petals , re wash the petals again.

Step -2

Keep a vessel on stove and place another smaller vessel to collect rose water in it.

Step-3

Arrange rose petals around the smaller vessel. Pour water on the rose petals. Make sure that water doesn’t fall in that centre vessel. Ratio of rose and water is 1:2

Step-4

Invert the lid and cover it. This helps all the evaporated water to condense in the same place.

Step -5

Place a bowl with ice over the lid. You can even put ice directly if you have turkey baster to clear the mess.

Step -6

Switch on stove and wait for ice to melt completely. Once the ice is melted your rose water is ready.

Step -7

Collect rose water and store it in a clean container after filtering it with a cotton cloth.

how to brighten eyes with this toner –

Take a dropper and pour two drops in each eye every day. This reduce burning, itching, irritation and brighten the eye along with wightening it.

Coming to our 3rd reason Lack of nutrition.

Vitamins like A, E and C are very important in the maintenance of eyes.

For vegetarians –

  1. Green leafy vegetables
  2. Beans
  3. Nuts
  4. Citrus fruits
  5. Yellow color fruits and vegetables

For Non vegetarians –

  1. Salmon
  2. Cod liver oil
  3. All types of fish
  4. Eggs
  5. Oysters
  6. Pork

The beauty always comes from internal health.
